There are so many fun activities to do with family while in Broken Bow, OK whether that be
indoor or outdoor. I want to focus on some of the activities Hochatown has to offer during your vacation stay. Not only are they family friendly activities but they are also very popular things to do when visiting Broken Bow, OK.
1) To start off there is the Hochatown Petting Zoo where they feature a variety of live
animals that are safe to feed and pet. They offer an array of barnyard animals, birds,
reptiles and even some exotics! Licensed Wildlife Rehabilitation Personnel are on site as
well. About 95% of the animals they have are rescues. This is something great to do with
the family and the children especially love to see the animals and get to feed them.
2) Another attraction is the Maze of Hochatown which is a fun challenge to do when
visiting Broken Bow. It is a life size maze which you walk through to try to find your
way out. You get a sheet of paper, and the goal is to try to find all of the hidden stamps
and mark each one you find on the paper. It is exciting and a great activity to enjoy with
family or friends.
3) Enjoy the scenery and have a great time with a game of minigolf at Old West Town
Minigolf where you will travel back in time as you play a challenging minigolf course
through the street of an old west themed town. The Old West Town includes an Indian
Trading Post, Stables, Hotel, Smokehouse and Country Store. Minigolf is always a great
activity to do with friends or family. The Old West town continues to grow each year
with a growing collection of antiques from the 1800’s for you to enjoy. Because it’s not
just Mini-Golf…it’s an adventure back in time!
4) Hochatown Escape Games is another great place to have a great time with family and
friends. They offer a variety of things to do such as, axe throwing, escape rooms and a
scavenger hunt. The unique Scavenger Hunt experience will take you to beautiful
landmarks all over Beavers Bend State Park and surrounding areas. You have the
opportunity to finish the Scavenger Hunt while also following a map-guided tour of our
beautiful park. They currently offer five escape rooms that each have a unique and fun
experience. Axe throwing is another great game where you can test your skills and see
who has the best aim to hit the target. All of these things that Hochatown Escape Games
offers are great activities and games we highly recommend checking out with family and
friends when visiting Broken Bow.
5) Lastly Gutter Chaos in Broken Bow is a fantastic spot to drop in and get your bowling on.
Offering many lanes to bowl along with pool tables, arcade games, and tasty food. Gutter
chaos is a great spot to go with the family and friends to relax and have some fun, while
offering great activities for the kids. They even have events on occasion such as karaoke
night or live music. Gutter Chaos is located on the northern side of Hochatown just
before Carson Creek Rd.
