New Casino Coming to Broken Bow
Many people may already know there is a major addition coming to Broken Bow, Oklahoma. The Choctaw Nation plans to create a $165 million gambling and entertainment resort near the popular travel destination. It will open a four-story, 202,000-square-foot resort in Hochatown, OK close to Broken Bow Lake and Beavers Bend State Park. They plan to break ground very soon. So what does this mean for Broken Bow? To start, this casino will offer yet another unique and exciting attraction to the area. It will be very large meaning there will be plenty of space for the many visitors they plan to get each year. It also add a new element to entertainment there offering more variety. The development will include 100 hotel rooms, 600 slot machines and eight table games, and it’s expected to fully open in 2024. This is a great thing for the community as well because it will allow the city to add infrastructure and emergency services to the community and is expected to create 400 hospitality jobs for the area. Due to the expansion of variety of entertainment, this likely bring more people to Hochatown where there is so many things to do for people of all age ranges. As many know there is a great market for cabin rentals with thousands of options of cabins offering a variety of different amenities. A close neighbor to Hochatown, Broken Bow is considered the second-fastest-growing travel destination in the U.S. and brings in nearly 2 million visitors annually with outdoor activities like hiking, fishing, and walkable trails. It has become a famous tourist destination where friends and family can go to experience nature, relax, hike the outdoors, sit around a fire, lake days, cabin life, Big Bend State Park, and so much more that Broken Bow offers.
